About Deck Space Records
A Kelowna studio for artists who want to make something that lasts, and the time to do it properly.
Audio engineer
James Kruis
James runs Deck Space Records and engineers every project. He brings an ear for detail and a passion for capturing each artist's sound.
Deck Space Records is built around long-term relationships. Working with the same artists over months lets him learn how they write, how they perform and what they want to say, and that shows up in the finished songs.
How the studio works
- Clear pricing, published openly, with no surprises
- Project packages for artists committing to a body of work
- Documented splits, credits and clearances for every song
