West Kelowna and Westbank are just across Okanagan Lake from the studio, which makes this the easiest place in the Okanagan to run a long project from. The drive is short enough that a song can move forward in small, regular steps instead of one big block.
How West Kelowna projects tend to run
Each song includes 12 studio hours. From West Kelowna that often works out as three or four shorter sessions: an evening or a weekday for the foundation of the track, another for overdubs, another for vocals. Short sessions fit around work and school, and the time between them is useful for listening back and making notes.
- Good fit for bands that rehearse close by and want to bring songs in once they feel ready.
- Good fit for solo writers building an EP one song at a time across several months.
- Easy to add a mixing or mastering pass when the last song is tracked.
What a project costs
Each song includes 12 studio hours and 3 revision rounds, priced from $420 to $780 per song depending on the rate you choose, with up to 15% off for larger packages. See the full rates and calculator.
