Long-term projects

For artists making an EP, an album or a run of releases over several months. Instead of booking one-off sessions, you commit to a set of songs and work through them at your own pace with the same engineer.

What every song includes

  • 12 studio hours per song
  • 3 revision rounds per song
  • Mixing and mastering built into the project
  • The same engineer from first session to final files
  • Studio time, equipment and operating costs during the included hours

Spread the hours however suits you: a few long days or many short evenings. The project runs on your schedule over weeks or months.

Pay less up front

A lower hourly rate reduces your upfront cost, and Deck Space Records keeps a retained interest in the song.

Pay more up front

A higher hourly rate raises your upfront cost and reduces our retained interest, up to full artist ownership at the top rate. Live show income is always 100% yours.

Rates and per-song pricing

Choose a rate between $35 and $65 per hour. The base price per song is your rate times 12 included hours.
